Swimmers NSW Speedo Champions

posted 7 Apr 2011 03:19 by SydUni Swimming
On Sunday 13 March, 11 athletes represented Sydney
Uni Swim Club at the NSW Speedo Finals at SOPAC.
Speedo Sprints pitches the top 6 swimmers from each age group, 8 years to 13 years,
over 50 metres from each of the 13 different swimming areas across NSW (including
the ACT). The club’s outstanding performances contributed to the point score and
helped their area, Metro South East (MetSEA) win the overall point score.
Sydney Uni finished the meet with 1 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals, and 14 final
swims. All 11 swimmers swam personal best times during the meet. Our swimmers
also proudly represented their area in the relays with great results.

Thank you to the SUSC coaches who supported the swimmers on the day.
Vanessa Smith, Tegan Miller and Tim Halliday.
